Werneri Isopods are from the genus Armadillidium. These Bbs look very similar to the Armadillidium klugii Dubrovnik. The differences are Werneri are lighter in color, and have five rows of dots while Dubrovnik have three rows. Their spots are also only white and never yellow like Klugii. Werneri isopods are known as greater clown isopods.
Armadillidium Werneri were discovered in 1927 by scientist Strouhal. They are found today in Greece and are able to tolerate humidity because of this. While they tolerate humidity they do not like it to be too humid.
