Granulatum Isopods are from the Armadillidium genus. They are dark greyish brown with yellow spots in two or three rows. In our experience, we have many big chunks of charcoal that Granulatum  spend most of their time on, whether it be on the wet side or the dry side.

Armadillidium Granulatum or Granulatum Isopods were discovered in 1833 by scientist Brandt. They are found today in Spain and more specifically Costa Blanca. These isopods like it dry with humidity at around 50%. Normal temperatures stay around 70 degrees. They are used to a lot of calcium from their natural environment from silt to sand to limestone. These naturally occurring rocks are a culmination of calcium for these isopods, so naturally, we want to try to recreate that!
