These isopods are rarely seen once added to a vivarium, but that is because they are hard at work being part of the cleanup crew.
Dwarf White Isopods are from the Trichorhina genus. They are small white isopods who like to search for their food in the soil. One isopod can start it's own colony and does not need a second to reproduce. Remember this if you have other isopods, because they can outcompete the other isopods and wipe the other isopods out.
Trichorhina Tomentosa Isopods were discovered by common isopod discoverer Budde-Lund in 1893. Dwarf White isopods are amazing cleaners for your reptile enclosures.
